Brian West

11 Year Old Big Leagues Cardinals Head Coach

Brian was born and raised in West Monroe, La. He was a high school All-American pitcher for West Monroe high school and was drafted in the 1st round by the Chicago White Sox in the Major League baseball draft after his senior season. Brian played in the White Sox organization for many seasons before leaving professional baseball to attend LSU and start his collegiate football career under Nick Saban. Brian was a defensive end on the 2003 LSU National Championship team. After his collegiate football career Brian went back to play with the White Sox before an injury ended his playing career. He has worked as an instructor for Big Leagues when we opened up in 2006 and we are happy to have him a part of our staff again as one of our team coaches. He is a very enthusiastic coach who players really enjoy.
