David Miller

 

David Miller was born May 23, 1977 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. David grew up in Gramercy, Louisiana and graduated from Brother Martin High School in 1996. David played baseball for two years at the University of New Orleans, UNO, before transferring to LSU in 1999. David was a member of the LSU Baseball Team from 1999-2002, gaining an outstanding amount of knowledge for the game of baseball. David later suffered an elbow injury, resulting in elbow surgery. David now resides in Gonzales, Louisiana with his wife Jessica.

  • 1996 District 10-5A Most Outstanding Player
  • 1996 MVP Class 5A State Championship Game, where he pitched 17 scoreless innings of baseball in less than 30 hours
  • 1996 May-Athlete of the Month by Nokia Sugar Bowl Commission
  • 1996 All Orleans
  • 1996 Louisiana Finalist for USA High School Baseball
  • 1996 Most Outstanding Player for Pitching, New Orleans Boosters
  • 1997 & 1998 Letterman at UNO
  • 1997 Member of the Southland Hogs
  • 1997 Led the Sunbelt Conference for strikeouts per nine innings
  • 1997 & 1998 Sunbelt Conference Pitcher of the Week
  • 2000 Member of the LSU National Championship Baseball Team
